Education First was founded in 1936 by former Columbus City Schools teacher Herb Williams. Since our founding in 1936, Education First Credit Union has remained steadfast in its dedication to the credit union philosophy of People Helping People. As a member-owned financial cooperative, we prioritize service over profit, working to improve the financial well-being of our members and the communities we serve.
